Italian Orienteering Cup: two nature-focused stages

On Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 April 2026 the Italian Orienteering Cup features two races set in protected green areas: a Middle event in the Boschi di Carrega (Sala Baganza, Parma) and a Sprint competition at the Parco delle Colonie Padane (Cremona). The weekend blends sport, landscape discovery and formats designed for newcomers.

Schedule and key times

Saturday 11 April – Middle race at Boschi di Carrega, with afternoon starts from 14:30. Courses run through clearings, mature woodland and historical landscape features.

Sunday 12 April – Sprint at Parco delle Colonie Padane; logistical base at the Azzurri d’Italia car park and races from 11:00. Short, fast courses ideal for testing speed and map-reading under pressure.

Beginners can try shorter, easier courses with clear control points; no prior experience is needed. On-site registration and basic orientation briefings by technical staff are provided.
