Clusone introduces cardboard VR headsets for an immersive village tour

Clusone has expanded its cultural promotion tools with cardboard VR headsets that turn a smartphone into a virtual reality viewer. The project, developed with Skylab Studios and funded by ex-PNRR (Dpcs) under the "Inclusive Cultural Itineraries" grant, delivers a 360° experience to highlight the town's monuments and routes.

Use is straightforward: insert your phone into the portable headset to start a digital tour guiding visitors through squares, churches and signature artworks of the town.

• Immersive routes: the experience begins "from the sky" with virtual hot air balloons directing users to landing points.
• Key stops: Town Hall, Fanzago Clock, MAT – Museum of Art and Time, and other historic center highlights.
• Educational content: e-learning package with interactive quizzes tailored for schools.
• Versatile use: suitable for fairs, conferences, events and school activities.
• Accessibility: designed to make cultural sites more accessible to those who cannot physically reach every location.

The initiative follows earlier interactive tourist signage and aims to make the village's cultural assets more accessible and appealing to visitors and the local community.
