From May 7 to 24, Galleria Siotto in Cagliari presents “Postcards of Love”, a series of digital illustrations by Francesco Nardi. The show explores urban memory through depictions of iconic squares, buildings and cityscapes — featuring works depicting Venice, Turin, Florence, Naples, Rome and Milan, alongside newly created pieces dedicated to Cagliari.
Curated by Alice Deledda, the exhibition frames the city as more than a backdrop: it is a shared heritage that calls for attention and care. The selection of works encourages viewing urban spaces with an attentive, affective gaze that connects personal and collective memory.
Trained in Design and Visual Communication, Francesco Nardi focuses on using illustration and design to narrate and enhance cultural heritage. His projects often explore urban narratives and collaborate with cultural institutions to highlight place-specific identities.
The exhibition appeals to visitors interested in contemporary illustration and urban storytelling: Nardi's works prompt a renewed gaze on familiar and hidden corners of Italian cities and place Cagliari within a broader conversation on the symbolic value of public spaces.
