BCC Magna Grecia hosts the exhibition dentro, fuori by emerging artist Carmela De Falco as part of Futuri Emergenti Italiani, the nationwide distributed show for under-35 artists promoted by Gruppo BCC Iccrea within the BCC Arte&Cultura project.

The dentro, fuori series features casts of doormats made from sugar and coffee — organic materials that evoke Southern Italian gestures of offering and neighborly courtesy. Through these works, the artist reflects on the threshold between private and public space and on the fragility of communal ties in contemporary life.

About the artist

Born in Naples in 1994, Carmela De Falco lives and works between Naples and Paris. She trained at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Napoli, ENSA-Dijon, Adbk München and ENSAD-Paris. Her work, which includes residencies and exhibitions internationally, investigates language, space and collective relations through installations and material research.

This presentation is part of the catalogue Futuri Emergenti Italiani (Ecra – Edizioni del Credito Cooperativo, April 2026), a mapping curated by a scientific committee that selected over 100 under-35 artists across Italy.
