Bologna Wine Week 2026: wine event at Palazzo Isolani
From 15 to 18 May 2026, Palazzo Isolani will host the Bologna Wine Week, a wine-focused event combining tastings, educational sessions and live entertainment in Bologna's historic centre.
Now in its fourth edition, the festival aims to be more accessible: it presents wines and educational content in a straightforward style while maintaining high standards of quality.
Key program highlights
- 15 May: opening with an evening DJ set.
- 16–17 May: main public days featuring tasting stands, eight live concerts, six DJ sets and eight in-depth masterclasses.
- 18 May: day reserved for industry professionals (horeca, buyers, distributors and press).
What to expect and practical tips
About 50 wineries and several consortia from across Italy participate. The event retains a diffused format: throughout the week, many bars and restaurants in the historic centre offer guided tastings and meetings with producers, strengthening ties between the monumental palace and the urban fabric.
- Check the updated program and exact schedules before attending.
- Book masterclasses in advance if you want to secure a place; availability can be limited.
- The final day is aimed at professionals—verify access rules if you represent the trade.
Palazzo Isolani's monumental setting adds cultural value to the festival: it's an occasion to combine wine tastings with a stroll through the surrounding historic sites.
Date note: event runs from 15 May 2026 (start) to 18 May 2026 (end).
