Single ticket for Nora and Saline Conti Vecchi: integrating archaeology and nature in southern Sardinia

From 14 May 2026 a single-entry ticket is available for two key sites in southern Sardinia: the Nora archaeological area in Pula and the Saline Conti Vecchi, a FAI property in Assemini. The initiative aims to offer a more complete visitor experience that links historical heritage with natural landscapes.

The joint ticket enables visitors to combine a visit to the Phoenician-Punic and Roman remains overlooking the sea with the natural and biodiversity value of the Santa Gilla lagoon, home to species such as flamingos.

  • Goal: enhance the territory through culture, environment and sustainability.
  • Partners: Fondazione Pula Cultura Diffusa and FAI – Fondo per l'Ambiente Italiano.
  • Offer: integrated ticket for two sites, with planned joint events and shared routes.

Organisers say the project responds to growing visitor demand for authentic, sustainable itineraries. The agreement also foresees cultural and experiential initiatives coordinated between Pula and the lagoon area, with benefits for local communities and a more balanced distribution of tourist flows.

The measure stands as an example of territorial collaboration aimed at promoting a more conscious enjoyment of southern Sardinia's archaeological and natural heritage.
