From 10 to 12 April 2026 the Coffee House at Palazzo Colonna presents a group exhibition focused on the relationship between painting and photography. Curated by Michele Crocitto, the show gathers artists from different generations to explore how these media interact, overlap and influence one another.
Featured work includes Riflessioni di Venere (Reflections of Venus), a collaboration between photographer Jude Black and artist Anfissa Vassé, where the female body becomes both surface and subject through controlled overexposure and coastal imagery. The exhibition also presents paintings, photographs and sculptures that consider identity, light and the mythic dimension in contemporary terms.
The opening takes place on Friday 10 April: during the inauguration aperitif Anfissa Vassé will perform a live painting and body painting session at 17:00, transforming the model's body into a changing pictorial surface and making the creative process visible to visitors.
The exhibition frames art as a field of exchange: painting and photography act as complementary surfaces that reflect and reinterpret each other. Visitors can expect contemporary works, a live creative act and a varied programme of voices inside the historic setting of Palazzo Colonna.
