From 26 March to 24 May 2026 the Casa Museo dell'Antiquariato Ivan Bruschi in Arezzo presents the exhibition Paper Money in Italy. From the origins to the euro, curated by Franca Maria Vanni. The show displays approximately 370 pieces from Intesa Sanpaolo’s paper money collection, offering a historical and visual journey through Italian banknote production.
The selection spans from the 18th century to the final lire issues before the euro, highlighting graphic evolution, security features and changes in monetary circulation.
