Museums open in Novara: Easter and Easter Monday 2026

Galleria Giannoni and the Museo di Storia Naturale Faraggiana Ferrandi will be open during the holiday period on Sunday 5 April 2026 (Easter) and Monday 6 April 2026 (Easter Monday).

Opening hours: 10:00–19:00 on both days.

• Free admission to Galleria Giannoni: Easter Sunday falls on the first Sunday of April, so entry to the gallery is free that day.
• Faraggiana Ferrandi Museum: always free admission for all visitors.
• Temporary exhibitions currently on display:
  • At the Faraggiana Ferrandi Natural History Museum: the photography exhibition "A spasso con la reflex" featuring works by Pietro Cirillo, organized by the Società Fotografica Novarese.
  • At Galleria Giannoni and the Sala dell'Accademia: the 77th Gruppo Labronico Exhibition "Gli artisti del Sodalizio a Novara - Alfredo Giannoni and Livornese painting".
• Active ticket agreements:
  • Holders of any ticket for the exhibition "L'Italia dei primi italiani. Ritratto di una nazione appena nata" at the Castello Visconteo Sforzesco can access Galleria Giannoni free of charge even after that exhibition ends, until 31 December 2026.
  • Visitors with a ticket for climbing the Cupola di San Gaudenzio gain free entry to Galleria Giannoni.
  • Full or reduced Galleria Giannoni tickets provide a reduced rate for access to the Cupola di San Gaudenzio.
  • Museum Pass holders enjoy free entry to Galleria Giannoni's permanent route and temporary shows.
