The University of L'Aquila’s museum network (POMAQ) has opened a new public venue at Palazzo Ciavoli-Cortelli, via Roma 33. The official opening takes place on 20 March 2026, aligned with the National Day of Italian Universities and the "Universities Revealed 2026" initiative organized by CRUI.
The new layout brings together scientific instruments and devices from university departments and private donors. The exhibits cover fields such as biology, biotechnology, environmental science, computer science, physics and engineering, documenting technological changes from the 1950s through the 1990s.
