Andria celebrates Made in Italy: "Product Italy Day" on April 15

On April 15, 2026 Andria will host Product Italy Day, promoted by Associazione Prodotto Italia APS with the patronage of the Municipality of Andria, the Province of BAT and the Puglia Region. The event brings together institutions, businesses, academia and local operators to highlight the quality, identity and innovation of regional productions.

  • Morning (Town Council Hall, 9:00–13:00): roundtables and talks on supply chains, innovation and sustainable growth; presentation of the "Product Italy Excellence" awards to local entrepreneurs and companies.
  • Afternoon (Former Market of Via Flavio Giugno, 16:00–21:00): "The Other Market of Made in Italy", a tasting and storytelling route organized by Assaggia l'Italia APS.
  • Purpose: to strengthen ties between businesses and the territory and to reveal the stories behind local products.

Awardees include local figures such as Giovanni Pomarico (Megamark S.p.A.), Giuseppe Nugnes (Nugnes 1920), and Salvatore Montrone (Caseificio Montrone), among others active in the agri-food and services sectors. Participating producers include olive oil mills, historic bakeries, confectioners and the Consorzio di Tutela Burrata di Andria IGP.

The initiative serves as a preview to the Fiera d'Aprile (April 24–26, 2026) and is part of a local cultural and economic promotion strategy based on product storytelling, tastings and direct engagement between producers and the community.
