Two important exhibitions in Alessandria remain open to the public with a new closing date of 6 April 2026. The shows focus on architect Ignazio Gardella and photographer Marco Introini, presenting complementary perspectives on urban design and landscape identity.
This exhibition traces Gardella's work in Alessandria, featuring documents and images of key projects such as the Anti-Tuberculosis Dispensary, the Borsalino housing for employees and the Vittorio Emanuele III Sanatorium. The display highlights the social dimension of twentieth-century architecture and marks the 120th anniversary of Gardella's birth.
A photographic exhibition exploring landscape and the relationship between nature and built environment: images offer a poetic and analytical reading of the woodland as a cultural and identity asset.
The two exhibitions enter into a constructive dialogue: architecture as a civic and welfare project, and landscape as a cultural asset. The displays suit architecture and photography enthusiasts as well as visitors seeking a fresh perspective on the Piedmont territory.
