Alessandria: 'Bosco come patrimonio' (Forest as Heritage) extended to April 6, 2026

Extended due to public interest, the photographic exhibition Bosco come patrimonio by photographer-architect Marco Introini is open until April 6, 2026 at the Museo Civico in Palazzo Cuttica. The display investigates the relationship between woodland and the built environment, presenting the forest as a cultural and identity-bearing element of the landscape.

Introini's photographs are notable for their visual strength and for using images as tools for critical reflection on contemporary landscape and urban form.

What to see and why it matters

The exhibition focuses on a small set of thematic priorities:

  • Forest as heritage: the woodland interpreted as an active component of cultural landscape;
  • Architecture & landscape: images that reveal the interactions between natural elements and built structures;
  • Critical reflection: photographs designed to prompt new readings of territory and urban design.

Practical information

  • Venue: Museo Civico, Palazzo Cuttica — Via Parma 1, Alessandria;
  • Exhibition period: extended to April 6, 2026;
  • Opening hours: Thursday–Sunday, 15:00–19:00;
  • Admission: generally included in the municipal museum circuit; reductions available for holders of the Abbonamento Musei Piemonte (check local conditions).

The show is presented in tandem with a retrospective on Ignazio Gardella, "Designing the City", at the Sale d'Arte in Via Machiavelli — together they form a cultural route focused on project, landscape and urban change.

Visitor tips

  • Allow time to read labels and contextual texts that accompany the images;
  • Check the museum's website or contact the ticket office for updated opening times before your visit;
  • The exhibition is recommended for enthusiasts of photography, architecture and landscape studies, as well as anyone interested in how environment shapes community identity.

With exhibitions like this, Alessandria reinforces its role as a regional hub for contemporary cultural discussions that bridge art, architecture and territory.
