ADSI presents the 16th National Day of Historic Residences – May 24, 2026

Sunday, May 24 the Association of Italian Historic Houses (ADSI) holds the 16th National Day of Historic Residences, when private residences, castles and historic gardens open free to the public, forming Italy's largest distributed museum.

The 2026 theme, "Guardians of the future. A living heritage for shared value," highlights the collective responsibility for the care, maintenance and enhancement of these assets, which play a key cultural and social role in local communities. ADSI reports that in 2025 more than 500 residences took part and welcomed over 250,000 visitors.
