On 24 May 2026 the Casa Museo Ivan Bruschi, housed in the 15th-century Palazzo del Capitano del Popolo in Arezzo, takes part in the XVI National A.D.S.I. Day with free openings and guided visits. The day includes the temporary exhibition “La cartamoneta in Italia. Dalle origini all'euro attraverso le banconote della collezione Intesa Sanpaolo” alongside the museum's permanent display.
The Ivan Bruschi Foundation preserves an eclectic collection across sixteen rooms on three floors: paintings from the 14th to the 19th century, Renaissance sculpture, textiles, silverware, ceramics, medals, scientific instruments and rare documents. The temporary show on paper currency traces the history of Italian banknotes through selections from the Intesa Sanpaolo collection.
The palace is partially accessible: lifts and connecting ramps are available between floors, though some rooms of the temporary exhibition may be less accessible. To make the most of your visit, allow time before the stated last admission. No booking is required for access during the A.D.S.I. day.
Casa Museo Ivan Bruschi also hosts exhibitions, workshops and talks; check the museum's official channels for updated event information.
