Veneto Segreto Weekend: highlights (9–10 May 2026)

On 9 and 10 May 2026 the Veneto Segreto network organises special openings and guided tours focused on monuments, historic palaces, villas and castles across Veneto. The routes are aimed at visitors interested in the history, architecture and cultural context of each site, including exclusive access to normally closed areas.

• Saturday 9 May
  • Museum of Eyewear - Agordo (BL): historical path on eyewear techniques and objects.
  • Montagnana (PD): visit to the walls and defensive circuit, among the best-preserved in Veneto.
  • Botanical Garden - Padua (PD): tour of the historic garden and the botanical museum.
  • Church of Santa Croce degli Armeni - Venice (VE): visit to the church and the spaces of the former Armenian hospice.
  • Casa Conti - Padua (PD): special opening of a 17th-century residence.
  • Secret Tours in Lendinara and Castelbrando: exclusive access to noble halls and palaces normally closed to the public.
• Sunday 10 May
  • Villa Vigna Contarena - Este (PD): visit to the villa designed by Vincenzo Scamozzi and its historic garden.
  • Secret Tour Castle of Thiene - Thiene (VI): opening of historic kitchens and basements not usually accessible.
  • Valle Millecampi - Codevigo (PD): landscape route among traditional huts, canals and fishing valleys.
  • Villa Foscari (La Malcontenta) - Mira (VE): visit to the famous Palladian villa.
  • Jewish cemeteries - Padua (PD): historical and cultural itinerary on burial sites and local stories.
