Palazzo Starita in Bari presents Volto, Verso, a comprehensive retrospective curated by Francesca Barbi Marinetti. The exhibition brings together around 70 medium and large-scale paintings that trace the main themes of Veneziano's work, from early figurative phases to recent conceptual investigations.
The exhibition highlights Corrado Veneziano’s (born in Tursi, 1958) long-standing artistic trajectory and international exhibitions. Alongside works that reference Renaissance themes and literary sources, the show features, in its Italian debut, the complete Turandot cycle created for the opera's centenary.
The project is realised with the support of Fondazione Puglia and Puglia Cultura Territorio and carries the patronage of the Municipality and Metropolitan City of Bari, among other cultural bodies.
