What you'll see

The guided route explains the main phases of Rudiae: a settlement founded in the Messapian period (7th century BC) later Romanized (3rd century BC). The tour reaches the Roman amphitheatre, attributable to the era of Trajan (98–117 AD). Rudiae is also known as the birthplace of the poet Quintus Ennius (239–169 BC).
