Journey through Italy: Francesco Corni’s drawings at Palazzo Barolo

Palazzo Falletti di Barolo presents the exhibition "Journey through Italy", a tribute to the architect and draughtsman Francesco Corni (1952–2020). Installed in the ground-floor apartments, the exhibition offers a clear visual and educational route that traces the formation and development of several Italian cities through precise graphic syntheses.

What to see

  • About forty original drawings and several scaled reproductions.
  • Focus on six cities: Aosta, Turin, Milan, Venice, Rome and Naples.
  • Graphic studies of monuments and urban transformations presented in an accessible format.

Dates and hours

  • First period: from 8 to 17 May 2026 (alongside the Turin Book Fair).
  • Second period: from 30 May to 19 July 2026.
  • During the opening weekend (8–10 May) visiting hours are extended until 23:00.

Guided tours and activities

  • The Francesco Corni Foundation organizes special guided tours on 8, 16 and 17 May 2026.
  • Interactive and playful routes designed for children and adults interested in urban drawing.

Tickets

Admission to the exhibition is included with the Palazzo Barolo ticket: full €8, reduced €6; free with the Abbonamento Musei. The exhibition is recommended for visitors interested in architecture, urban history and monument-focused visits.
