With spring’s arrival the historic park of the Govone Royal Castle comes alive. Located among the hills of Langhe, Roero and Monferrato—part of a UNESCO landscape—the castle hosts Tulips at Court on Sunday 29 March 2026, celebrating the seasonal flowering of a protected wild tulip.

The star species is Tulipa oculus solis praecox, whose deep red blooms carpet the park paths. Alongside tulips, visitors will find muscari, periwinkle and a well-curated rose garden featuring hundreds of historic varieties.
