Toys Design Factor at FAO Schwarz Milan: how a toy is born

On Saturday 9 May 2026 FAO Schwarz Milan presents Toys Design Factor – How is a toy born?, a free event designed to engage children and families in the stages of toy design and creation.

Students from the Design for Kids & Families Master at Politecnico di Milano will showcase six prototypes. Young visitors can explore the models, ask questions and learn how an idea becomes a toy, with emphasis on accessibility, educational value, innovation and sustainability.

The activity will be accompanied by FAO Schwarz's iconic Toy Soldier, who will guide children through the experience.
