Messina-based painter and cultural organizer Titti Crisafulli has officially donated a collection of nine oil paintings to the Museo del '900 in Messina. The works, focused on traditional local trades, were handed over to the museum's management and now form part of its permanent holdings.
The donation was delivered to the museum directed by Dr. Angelo Caristi. The canvases will be included in the museum's program of exhibitions and cultural initiatives and will be viewable during public openings or special events.
These works contribute to local historical memory and expand the Museo del '900's cultural offering, which documents Messina's 20th century through objects, documents and reconstructed environments.
The paintings will be on display during the museum's exhibitions and initiatives. For information about special openings or to arrange visits, contact the museum directly at +39 389 762 3501. The museum is located at Viale Italia, 9 (Viale Boccetta Alto), Messina.
The Museo del '900 is housed in the former Cappellini bunker-shelter, restored between 2013 and 2015 and reopened to the public as an exhibition space. Crisafulli's donation enriches the museum's historical and iconographic collection and offers new opportunities for visitors and residents.
