Painter and cultural organizer Titti Crisafulli from Messina has donated a set of nine oil-on-canvas paintings to the Museo del '900 di Messina. The series depicts historic local trades and enriches the museum's exhibition content and collective memory.
The works have been added to the collection of the Museo del '900 (Viale Boccetta Alto) under the direction of Dr. Angelo Caristi and will be displayed during the museum's scheduled cultural events.
The canvases will be on display during the museum's exhibitions and cultural programs. For details on opening hours or to arrange a visit, contact the Museo del '900 directly at +39 389 762 3501. The museum's restored spaces narrate the twentieth-century history of Messina through objects, documents and curated settings.
The museum occupies the former Cappellini bunker, restored between 2013 and 2015 and converted into a public museum. Crisafulli's donation complements the museum's large historical and iconographic collection, enhancing its cultural offer to residents and tourists.
