Pure il vento is a solo exhibition by Raffaele Fiorella that brings a compact, immersive installation to Bari. Video, sculpture and mapping converge to reshape the gallery into a walkable archive where personal digital fragments are reactivated as artworks.
The works slow down perception: small sculptural nuclei are animated by finely tuned projections, creating suspended atmospheres that encourage contemplative viewing, countering the pace of everyday digital overload.
Fiorella works with an "ecology of images": rather than producing entirely new visuals, he reclaims and reactivates existing digital material—everyday clips, accidental photographs and forgotten files—transforming them into video-installations, animations and sculptural presences that negotiate materiality and immateriality.
The exhibition includes an original sound component by composer Gabriele Strada, creating a multisensory dialogue that expands the spatial perception of the works. Fiorella, who teaches Digital Applications for Visual Arts at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Bari, presents a coherent body of work linking installation, video and sculpture.
Visitor tips: appointments are recommended for visits outside scheduled hours; allow time for slow viewing to fully engage with the interplay of physical objects and projected imagery.
