Sport in Family 2026: three days of sport, health and family activities

From May 15 to 17 the Parco Centrale del Lago in EUR becomes a large outdoor venue dedicated to families: the 11th edition of Sport in Family offers free activities for children, teens and adults, with a program designed to be inclusive and suitable for all levels.

This family-friendly weekend combines land, water and air sports, educational workshops and health services aimed at prevention. Key highlights:

• More than 60 disciplines and over 300 athletes daily: demonstrations, hands-on trials and public classes.
• Sport Medicine Hub: a free integrated sports health hub with physiotherapists, specialists, ECGs and cardiology screenings.
• Mobile Red Cross unit offering free checks (ECG, blood glucose) and an ambulance on site throughout the event.
• First aid and BLSD courses teaching life-saving techniques such as CPR and defibrillator use.
• Decathlon green area and sustainability activities promoting outdoor respect and the “Leave No Trace” principle.
• Children’s workshops and practical activities: guided mountain bike routes, parkour, simulated ski track and a free bike repair workshop.
• Friday, May 15 is dedicated to schools: more than 1,000 students participating and over 250 high school students engaged in PCTO training paths.

For families: dedicated spaces, age‑appropriate activities and many hands-on opportunities to introduce children to sport in a safe and enjoyable way. The event also focuses on promoting prevention with free basic health services.
