The Municipality of Badia Polesine has revised part of its electric charging infrastructure plan after the Superintendent found the installation in the via San Rocco car park incompatible with the cultural and monumental setting. The site sits a short distance from the Abbey of Vangadizza, an important historic landmark.

The original plan, approved in 2023, identified four suitable urban locations for chargers. For via San Rocco the contracted company informed the municipality it will not install the planned charger, while confirming it will carry out improvements to the parking area.

• Reason for the block: protection of the monument's historic and landscape value.
• Alternative works: installation of permeable concrete paving over about 400 m² and other site improvements.
• Financial impact: the municipal resolution states the change produces no extra costs or reduced revenues for the local budget.

At the same time, the administration purchased an electric vehicle for technical services (a Fiat Panda electric Icon) to replace an older car. The acquisition is part of a regional program for local authorities and totals €26,500, with €15,000 covered by regional funding.
