The Fondazione Musei Senesi has chosen six recent graduates under 30 to join the FMS Academy, a training programme combining theoretical lessons with practical internships across museums in the local network. The initiative aims to strengthen hands-on skills in heritage management, cultural communication and audience engagement.
The initial phase includes about one month of lessons and workshops led by sector professionals. Key topics covered are:
Internships last an initial six months, with the possibility of a further six-month renewal. The project is funded by the regional FSE+ Tuscany 2021–2027 programme under the Giovanisì initiative and is implemented with local authorities and territorial partners.
