Badia Polesine – From 23 to 28 March IIS Primo Levi hosted a delegation from IES Pablo Sarasate of Lodosa as part of an ongoing Erasmus Plus project. The initiative brought together students and teachers in a programme aimed at strengthening language, interpersonal and intercultural skills.
The week combined classroom lessons with local activities, allowing Spanish students to experience daily life in an Italian school and engage in exchanges with their Italian peers.
An institutional meeting with Councillor Valeria Targa provided a chance to discuss European education and active citizenship. Local host families expanded the cultural programme with trips to Ferrara and Verona, enhancing students’ knowledge of regional heritage.
The exchange continues with a second phase in Spain from 17 to 24 April, where Italian students and teachers will be guests and one teacher will take part in job shadowing activities to support professional development and pedagogical innovation.
Initiatives like this highlight Erasmus Plus mobility as an educational laboratory that promotes international openness, personal growth and school-to-school cooperation.
