Sapori in Comune: final stage in Colleferro

The first edition of Sapori in Comune concluded on Sunday 29 March in Colleferro. The distributed food festival was created to showcase agro-food excellences and short supply chains in the South-East Lazio area, connecting three neighbouring municipalities — Valmontone, Labico and Colleferro — through an itinerant programme.

The closing event took place at the Mercato Coperto di Colleferro, highlighted as a renewed hub for local commerce and community life. The programme included tastings, producers' stalls and live folk music, with active participation from restaurateurs, shops and local artisans.

• Dates and locations: 15 March in Valmontone (Palazzo Doria Pamphilj), 21 March in Labico, final event on 29 March in Colleferro.
• Goals: promote experiential tourism, support short supply chains and valorise local traditional products.
• Participants: more than twenty local producers and restaurateurs; live music by Kalicanti Folk Band.
• Local stakeholders: the festival involved municipal administrations and local assessors working on trade and cultural promotion.

The initiative offered an opportunity to strengthen ties among neighbouring communities and map local culinary identities through traditional dishes and products.
