From Saturday, May 9, Palazzo Bembo hosts UNISON, Rita Sabo’s new solo exhibition presented as part of Personal Structures – Confluences 2026. The multidisciplinary show examines links between ancient civilizations and contemporary visions through painting, sculpture and multisensory installations.
Press previews are scheduled for Thursday, May 7 and Friday, May 8 by appointment (14:00–18:00). On May 7 at 15:00 there will be a press conference with Alexander Reissle (ArtReview) and Rita Sabo, followed at 16:00 by a guided tour with the artist. The official vernissage takes place on Saturday, May 8 at 17:00 at the Piano Nobile of Palazzo Bembo (Riva del Carbon 4793, Venice), attended by the artist and curator Tayfun Belgin.
UNISON adopts a holistic perspective: fifteen cultural formations (including Sumerian, Ancient Egyptian, Maya, Celtic and Buddhist) are presented as equivalent resonant fields. The exhibition unfolds across four rooms, from large-scale chromatic canvases and fractal structures to an immersive transmedia environment.
The exhibition frames ancient traditions within a contemporary dialogue on cultural memory and collective stewardship of the planet, merging visual practice with environmental engagement to create a reflective, participatory experience.
