Echoes of Holiness at the Treasure Museum of Vercelli Cathedral

The Treasure Museum of Vercelli Cathedral is taking part in the National Days for the enhancement of ecclesiastical cultural heritage with the 2026 theme: “Echoes of Holiness”. The initiative highlights the religious, historical and cultural value of church collections and their role in preserving living memories of devotion.

Main period: 8–17 May 2026. During these days the museum offers extended openings and multimedia insights to broaden public access to the collection.

• Temporary exhibition: “Viaggi dell’anima” by Giorgio Ramella, in dialogue with the museum’s permanent collections and the former Church of San Vittore. The exhibition is on view until 31 May 2026 during regular museum hours; at San Vittore on Saturdays and Sundays from 16:00 to 18:30.
• Extended opening: Thursday 14 May 2026 the Treasure Museum will remain open with extended hours until 20:00.
• Multimedia station: “Echoes of Holiness: Digital Presences”, available until 17 May 2026, features preview 3D models of reliquaries not on display from the Cathedral of Sant’Eusebio. Models were produced by Catherine Albers-Morris, 3D Modeling Specialist on the Videntes project.

The program offers access to normally unavailable works and showcases digital tools for research, conservation and public outreach of ecclesiastical heritage.
