Puglia Region: 3 million euros for major events in the second half of 2026

The Puglia Region has announced a 3 million euro package to fund major cultural and tourism events scheduled in the second half of 2026. The measure aims to support events across the territory, promote season extension and enhance local cultural heritage.

According to the statement, the grants will target festivals, performing arts events, exhibitions and tourism promotion initiatives capable of drawing audiences and generating economic benefits for local areas.

• Objectives: increase tourism attractiveness, reduce seasonality, support the cultural supply chain.
• Fundable areas: music festivals, theatre seasons, major exhibitions, food and wine events and territorial promotion initiatives.
• Selection criteria: tourist impact, co-financing capacity, environmental sustainability and projects developed in partnership with local stakeholders.

The funding is intended to spread activities across provinces and help rebuild cultural calendars after the summer season, with a focus on proposals that develop public-private partnerships and widespread programming.
