May Day at Palazzo Merulana: Cerasi Collection and exhibitions

On 1 May 2026 Palazzo Merulana opens its rooms to the public: a convenient cultural option for those spending Labour Day in Rome who want to explore 20th-century and contemporary art.

Exhibitions on view

  • Nicola Pucci – a solo show within the "Scuola Italiana" project: nineteen works that place Pucci's New Magical Realism in dialogue with 20th-century figurative tradition.
  • Francesco Vaccarone. Rome 1970–1976 – exhibition focused on the artist's Roman period; the show is in its final days during the holiday weekend.
