Spring in Sabina: outdoor experiences and local flavors

From May 2 to June 21, 2026, Spring in Sabina launches a series of events designed to showcase the territory through outdoor activities and food tastings. The initiative is promoted by the Sabina Business Network as part of the Sabina Parco Slow project and involves local guides, agritourisms, producers and tourism operators.

The program combines active and leisurely experiences to connect landscape, local products and hospitality. It's suitable for day trips, weekend excursions or short experiential stays in nature.

• Hiking along scenic trails and natural sites (for example Grotta di San Michele and the Pozze del Diavolo).
• River activities such as canoeing and kayaking in the Tevere-Farfa Nature Reserve.
• E-bike routes for longer itineraries with stops at local businesses.
• Adventure park and suspended tree paths at Fontecerro.
• Canyoning and other outdoor movement activities.
• Tastings and visits to producers, including a mill visit and extra virgin olive oil tasting at Prati di Cottanello, plus food experiences in agritourisms and taverns (e.g., Osteria Tancia).

Each event is organised in collaboration among several local enterprises to offer combined packages of accommodation, activities and local products. Activities are designed for different ability levels and include booking information.
