PrimaVera Arte: retrospective at the Civic Art Gallery of Reggio Calabria

Opening: 11 April 2026. The Civic Art Gallery launches “PrimaVera Arte,” an exhibition gathering paintings, graphic works and small sculptures by both local and international artists, covering works shown from the mid-1990s to recent years.

The exhibition features previously unseen pieces and important loans that establish a conversation with the gallery’s modern collection.

• Featured artists: among others, Nunzio Bava, Carlo Simoni, Angela Pellicanò, Technè, Kiki Fleming, Francesco Triglia, Croce Taravella, Luis Molteni and designer Riccardo Dalisi.
• Highlights: previously unpublished works by Mario D’Agostino and a section organized by the Ulysses Association including drawings and a notable sculpture by Umberto Boccioni on loan from a private collector.
• Installation: a small sculpture/installation by Donatella Pinocci inspired by an episode in Boccioni’s life.

The exhibition is produced by the Ulysses Association; curated by Marisa Cagliostro and Daniela Neri, with display design by Giuseppina Vitetta. It forms part of a broader cultural itinerary linking the gallery with other local institutions—Palazzo Crupi, the Little Museum of S. Paolo, the Diocesan Museum and the Frangipane Museum—within the new municipal museum network.
