Pomilio Blumm wins ENIT tender to promote Italy's cultural and religious routes

Pescara-based communications agency Pomilio Blumm has been awarded the ENIT (National Tourism Agency) tender for the project “Integrated actions to promote new modes of fruition of cultural and religious heritage”, part of the PNRR measure Caput Mundi - Next Generation EU.

The assignment covers integrated management of communication and promotional activities to increase the appeal of cultural and religious routes and generate new visitor flows to Italian territories.

  • Main goals: enhance sites and pilgrimage routes, encourage desegregation across seasons and promote slow, sustainable tourism.
  • Routes included: Via Francigena, Romea Strata, Romea Germanica, the Way of St. Francis, the Way of St. Benedict and other notable itineraries.
  • Planned tools: creative strategy, multilingual digital content, national and international press office, branded content campaigns, collaboration with creators and organization of media trips.
  • End result: redistribute tourist flows toward lesser-known areas, create new local experiences and stimulate economic opportunities for communities.

At the same time, Pomilio Blumm secured a separate assignment from the Fondo For.Te for continuous training projects in the tertiary sector, with funding above one million euros to support professional development and access to training.

Territorial impact: the initiative aims to systematize digital promotion and the enjoyment of routes, bringing benefits to local operators and cultural activities while keeping a primary focus on domestic audiences and the enhancement of Italy's cultural landscapes.
