Italy Pavilion at Biennale Arte 2026: "Con te con tutto"

Con te con tutto is Chiara Camoni’s exhibition hosted at the Italy Pavilion during the 61st Venice Biennale. Curated by Cecilia Canziani and promoted by the Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity of the Ministry of Culture, the project is located in the historic Tese delle Vergini at the Arsenale.

The display combines site-specific works and existing pieces to create a coherent installation that reimagines the exhibition space as a transforming landscape. Camoni’s practice emphasizes collaboration, co-creation and the use of traditional and found materials.

What to see

The exhibition occupies two large sheds:

  • First shed: houses twenty-four sculptures — columnar and anthropomorphic figures (Colonne, Sister, Daimon) — made in clay using coil-building or composed of terracotta elements. Slightly larger than life, the works are embellished with shrubs, shells, stones and found objects, highlighting the dialogue between matter and living forms.
  • Second shed: hosts the "Dialoghi" section, curated by Lucia Aspesi and Fiammetta Griccioli, which complements the main installation through material and conceptual conversations.

Themes and approaches

The exhibition foregrounds processuality, care, collective practices and the hybridization of craftsmanship with contemporary experimentation. Camoni revisits motifs from 20th-century Italian art — notably Arte Povera — to explore relationships between human, animal and sacred, challenging authorship hierarchies.
