Artist: Chiara Camoni | Curator: Cecilia Canziani
The Italy Pavilion presents "Con te con tutto", a site-specific installation by Chiara Camoni that reimagines the Arsenale as a shifting landscape. Curated by Cecilia Canziani, the project emphasizes collaborative practices, traditional and recycled materials, and a reflection on the relationships between human, animal and sacred forms.
The main nave features a quiet forest of more than twenty ceramic figures, slightly above human scale, modeled using coil-building or assembled from numerous terracotta elements. Placed in dim light, the figures read as minor deities from a distant past, some with defined faces and bodies, others with open, evolving forms adorned with natural and found objects.
Alongside ceramics, the artist incorporates previously unseen materials—recycled plastics, industrial offcuts and found objects—constructing a narrative of the contemporary landscape that highlights the beauty of discard and the practice of reuse. The work foregrounds craftsmanship and collective making as ways to rethink artistic practice.
Access: the Italy Pavilion is located at the Arsenale, Campo Della Tana (Castello), Venice. For detailed opening hours and ticketing, consult the official Biennale channels.
