European Night of Museums at Palazzo Collicola: an evening linking memory and contemporary art

On Saturday, 23 May 2026, Palazzo Collicola in Spoleto presents an evening programme that brings the monument into dialogue with contemporary art: guided tours, curator talks and a site-specific performance in the inner courtyard.

  • Evening hours: 18:00–22:30
  • 18:00 – Talk in the "Vita minore" series: the curator discusses Jannis Kounellis's intervention Untitled (1969) and leads a tour of the exhibition spaces and the original poster.
  • 21:00 – Visit to the solo exhibition Agraria by Franco Troiani, curated by Saverio Verini: a selection of works in wood and found materials, including a previously unseen piece created for the anniversary occasion.
  • Evening – Site-specific performance in the courtyard: Mouth Out – Voci dal Palazzo by Fabio Giorgi Alberti, approximately 15 minutes of collective action featuring painted mouths on canvas activated by voices and bass drum rhythm.
