Night of Museums 2026: Greater Pompeii and Vesuvian sites open at night with €1 entry

On Saturday, 23 May 2026, for the Night of Museums, the main sites of Greater Pompeii will be open in the evening with a symbolic €1 admission (reductions and free entry apply according to current regulations).

• Villa of Poppaea - Oplontis
• Villa Regina and Antiquarium - Boscoreale
• Villa San Marco, Villa Arianna and the "Libero D'Orsi" Archaeological Museum - Stabiae

Hours and tickets

Sites will be accessible from 19:30 to 23:30, with the last admission at 22:30. Evening routes cost €1 per entry; legal reductions and free access for eligible categories apply.

Main routes in Pompeii

• First route: entrance from Piazza Anfiteatro, visit to the Palestra Grande with a new eruption exhibition (organic finds and victims), theatrical performance Persone di gesso in the garden, followed by three historic houses (Praedia of Giulia Felice, House of Venus in a Shell, House of Loreius Tiburtinus). Approx. duration: ~1 hour.
• Second route: visit to the Villa of the Mysteries and shuttle transfer to Boscoreale for Villa Regina and the Antiquarium. The route includes the Pompeii Artebus service. Duration: ~40 minutes in Pompeii + ~60 minutes in Boscoreale.
