Verona: free special openings of palaces, villas and gardens - Sunday 24 May 2026

For the National Day of Historic Houses, Sunday 24 May 2026 many monuments, historic residences and gardens in Verona and its province will be accessible to the public free of charge. This initiative is a practical opportunity to visit buildings and green spaces that are often closed or little known.

  • Palazzo Liorsi – Renaissance-origin residence in the historic centre, featuring an inner courtyard, staircases and decorated rooms.
  • Palazzo Sambonifacio Negri – Historic building near Juliet's House, with medieval traces and Renaissance interventions.
  • Palazzo Serenelli Benciolini – Residence combining Renaissance and 19th-century elements, with decorated rooms and ceilings.
  • Palazzo and Giardino Giusti – 16th-century complex renowned for its Italian garden, terraces and panoramic viewpoints over the city.
  • Torre di Terzolan - Villa Ridolfi – Hill complex with a medieval tower and noble villa, offering views over the Veronese countryside.
  • Villa Carrara (Grezzana) – 18th-century Venetian villa with a tree-lined park and historic façade.
