Nicola Vincenzo Piscopo — NOON: do not touch the electrical panel
When: 26/05/2026 – 30/05/2026
Where: Galleria Rubin, Via Santa Marta 10, Milan
Admission: free
NOON marks Nicola Vincenzo Piscopo's first presentation in Milan: an exhibition conceived as an ambiguous threshold between painting, installation and performative device. The central work is the gallery's electrical panel, reinterpreted from a marginal technical object into a painted subject and allegory. The project establishes a continuous lighting condition that occupies the space rather than revealing it.
The show questions the role of art in an over-illuminated present: light becomes both the emblem of relentless productivity and a sign of possible sterility. By overturning the functional order of the exhibition space, Piscopo prompts reflection on what it still means to produce images in a world that is already entirely exposed and consumed.
- Concept: ambiguous threshold between painting, installation and performative device
- Key element: the electrical panel as the artwork
- Practical note: the gallery remains lit 24 hours a day
- Staff availability: gallery staff present during office hours

Visiting tips: plan your visit during office hours if you need curatorial information; the experimental nature of the installation is suited to visitors interested in practices that challenge the function of exhibition spaces. Admission is free, though checking for guided tours in advance can enhance the visit.
