The “Leobaldo Traniello” Prize launched: young people tell the cultural heritage of the Polesine

The Leobaldo Traniello Prize has been announced: an educational initiative promoted by Italia Nostra – Rovigo with the support of Fondazione Cariparo, dedicated to the memory of the scholar who contributed to the cultural life of the Polesine area.

• Purpose: encourage young people to explore, protect and narrate local heritage through written stories about places, characters and lesser-known histories of the Polesine.
• Who can participate: students of state upper secondary schools in the province of Rovigo.
• Organisers: Italia Nostra Rovigo, supported by Fondazione Cariparo, with information distributed by the local Ambito Territoriale office.
• How to apply: download and complete the entry form from Fondazione Cariparo's website; the form must be digitally signed by the school principal and sent to: [email protected].
• Submission deadline: 1 October 2026.
