How the “Museo Sospeso” initiative works at Museo Egizio

For International Museum Day (18 May 2026), Museo Egizio is participating in the “Museo Sospeso” project launched by Gruppo Lavazza, with patronage from ICOM Italy. The initiative aims to broaden access to culture by providing reserved tickets for groups and individuals connected to associations within the “Porta delle Culture” network.

Key information for participants:

  • Tickets provided: 200 suspended admissions allocated to eligible beneficiaries.
  • Guided tours: Eight guided visits in various languages, scheduled between July and October for initiative participants.
  • Partners: Museo Egizio joins Museo Lavazza (Turin), La Triennale and Pinacoteca di Brera (Milan), and the Peggy Guggenheim Collection (Venice) in the project.
  • Accessibility focus: the action is part of Gruppo Lavazza’s “IncluVisity” program, which develops visit formats attentive to diverse accessibility needs.

To obtain tickets and join the guided tours, members of participating associations must submit a direct request to Porta delle Culture by email or phone. Contact them to confirm eligibility and the exact dates of the tours.
