On the 81st anniversary of Liberation Day, Parma's main museums and cultural institutions offer a full day of events: special openings, guided tours and activities for children. Below is the main program and practical information to plan your visit.

Main program

• Pinacoteca Stuard
  • 11:00 – Museum presentation with a guide: an introduction to Giuseppe Stuard's collection and the municipal artistic heritage. Entry with ticket, no reservation required.
  • 15:30 – Creative workshop for children aged 5–10 titled "I fantastici giardini fioriti", inspired by the gallery's landscapes.
• Castello dei Burattini – Museo Giordano Ferrari
  • 16:00 – Puppet show "Bargnocla Cabaret" by the Compagnia I Burattini dei Ferrari, an event designed for families.
• Special openings of the Oratories – From 15:00 to 18:00: the Oratory of Santa Maria delle Grazie and the Oratory of Sant'Ilario will be open for short free guided visits every 30 minutes, focusing on local history and architecture.

Recommended exhibitions

• Fondazione Magnani Rocca (Mamiano di Traversetolo): the large exhibition "Il Simbolismo in Italia. Origini e sviluppi di una nuova estetica 1883-1915" featuring over 140 works, including pieces by Segantini and Previati.
• Casa del Suono: as part of the PARMA 360 Festival, the exhibition "Synthetic Horizons" dedicated to new geographies of artificial intelligence.
• Complesso Monumentale della Pilotta: regular opening from 09:00 to 19:00 with access to the Teatro Farnese and the National Gallery.
