Montescudaio celebrates local territory: 'Borgo in Mostra' (23-24 May 2026)

Montescudaio presents Borgo in Mostra, an event across the historic center showcasing local food, craft and cultural specialties. The initiative runs on 23 and 24 May 2026 with activities suitable for families, food lovers and visitors keen to explore rural landscapes and local production chains.

Program overview

• Saturday 23 May
  • 3:00 PM - Guided walk “Where local products are born” including a visit to the rural landscape and a stop at the Fratelli Agnoletto wood-fired bakery to see traditional bread making;
  • 5:00 PM - Conference in the Saletta Emo Sarti at the Town Hall on “Wine and food tourism: a development engine for Italian villages”;
  • Evening - Free tasting in Piazza del Comune and from 9:00 PM music and dancing at Piazzale del Castello with the Quadriglia della Val di Cecina.
• Sunday 24 May
  • From 12:00 PM - The main street becomes a tasting trail with street food, producers' stalls, craft markets and children’s entertainment;
  • Live music featuring Folko, the Dreamland Voices choir and a DJ set by Simon;
  • Amateur cooking contest: registrations open until Thursday 21 May 2026.
