Montepulciano: two new LART Universe galleries open at Palazzo Bracci

LART Universe launches a new art centre in Montepulciano, located in Palazzo Bracci. The venue houses two distinct galleries: one dedicated to major 20th-century masters and one focused on contemporary practice, with a year-round programme designed to encourage public engagement.

The exhibition "Salvador Dalì: Eat Me", extended into 2026, examines Dalí’s relationship with food through a selection of original works from a private collection, including several limited-edition bronze sculptures.

The contemporary gallery debuts the DIALOGUES project, bringing together three international artists — Alberto La Tassa, Leonardo Cappellini and Femke de Groot — to present installations and works that foster direct interaction with visitors. A large-scale sculpture known as the "Cosmic Rhinoceros" is also installed at the town entrance, marking the intersection of art and public space.

  • Highlights: works by Dalí, Picasso, Chagall alongside contemporary installations.
  • DIALOGUES: rotating exhibitions and site-specific projects to stimulate artist–audience encounters.
  • Venues: main site at Palazzo Bracci (Montepulciano) with a forthcoming second centre at Palazzo Ferretti (Cortona).
  • Programme: annual schedule of exhibitions and related cultural events.

Visitor note: check opening hours and ticket information on the centre’s official channels before planning your visit. The spaces are curated to be welcoming and accessible to a broad audience.
