Luka Modrić has chosen to add his Ballon d’Or to the collection at Mondo Milan, housed in Casa Milan. The trophy, awarded in 2018, will become part of the museum’s room dedicated to individual awards, joining other notable pieces of the club’s heritage.
The Ballon d’Or will be exhibited in the section for personal achievements, an area designed to tell the stories of players whose careers contribute to the club’s shared history. Its presence strengthens the dialogue between international accolades and the museum’s interpretation of football heritage.
Modrić said the donation stems from his wish to share a personal milestone with supporters and the club. He emphasized his emotional connection to the jersey and described the gesture as a way to give back some of the affection he received since joining.
The Mondo Milan museum is the site where the Ballon d’Or will be on display. Visitors interested in viewing the trophy should check the museum’s official channels for up-to-date opening hours and any special exhibition routes related to permanent or temporary displays.
