When: 13–19 April 2026. Milano Art Week returns with a city-wide program involving public museums and private institutions, offering contemporary interventions that engage historic collections and new site-specific projects.

The week highlights museum openings, special projects and performances within institutional spaces: a chance to rediscover classical institutions and contemporary research venues through curated routes for diverse audiences.

• Ghost Track: a series of contemporary interventions placed within collections of museums not exclusively devoted to contemporary art (including the Castello Sforzesco Museums, Civic Archaeological Museum, Natural History Museum, Civic Aquarium and the Museum of the Risorgimento). Works are inserted alongside historical displays to offer fresh perspectives without altering the usual visitor experience.
• PAC: the program opens with a major exhibition that includes an inaugural performance; other venues like the GAM host site-specific works and interventions conceived for emblematic halls.
• Museum of the Twentieth Century: new projects and dispersed interventions within the permanent collection, featuring recent acquisitions and thematic rehangs.
• Palazzo Reale, MUDEC, Castello Sforzesco: large-scale shows and site-specific installations that explore intersections between history, art and science.
• ArtLine Milan (CityLife): completion of the contemporary art park with 20 site-specific works; the final installation debuts with accompanying visits and a project catalogue.
• Private institutions and foundations: venues such as Fondazione Prada, Pirelli HangarBicocca and Triennale present retrospectives, multimedia projects and full days of performances.

Special events: international talks exploring the border between design and art, multidisciplinary programs linking science and culture, and performance days across multiple sites.
