Milano Art Week 2026: art in places of welcome

For Milano Art Week 2026, the artistic-scientific project La Città a-venire by Paolo Ferrari extends the festival program by bringing artworks and site-specific installations into places of welcome. One notable stop is Opera Cardinal Ferrari, hosting a screening and a site-specific event on April 16.

The initiative connects contemporary art, urban space and social dimensions: site-specific installations and the video Le Sostituzioni Assenti by Aurelio Colombo (from Paolo Ferrari's in-Assenza works) are presented in shelters and daytime centers for vulnerable people, building new relationships between audiences and care settings.
